Our Partners
Without the support of our Partners we could not embark on this journey and enable transitional support within our ONE Communities. We welcome new partnerships to make the ONE SUMMIT 2019 have even more impact than last year.
One Step at a Time
The One initiative is firmly focused on accelerating our transition to a thriving, carbon zero, sustainable community before 2050. The climate crisis is providing us with an opportunity to rethink how we govern, work and behave. An opportunity for incremental, citizen driven change to lead us into a better world through partnership and collaboration.
Aligning our best interests with those of the planet is crucial if we want to ensure future generations have a safe world in which to live. We are in the process of learning to tread lightly on this earth and to acknowledge that we are part of a greater system.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is our GPS on this journey. We know that reaching our destination for 2050 will take a global effort. But every step, no matter how small, counts. It only takes ONE to start.
Without the support of our Partners we could not embark on this journey and enable transitional support within our ONE Communities. We welcome new partnerships to make the ONE SUMMIT 2019 have even more impact than last year.
We believe that real change comes from grassroots up, not top down. There are currently two sector led working groups set up looking at challenges and solutions within the BUILDING and in the HOSPITALITY sectors. FIND OUT MORE

New Zealand is on the path to a low emission, climate resilient future; the Government aims to reduce our emissions to net zero by 2050.
New Zealand’s commitments under the Paris Agreement, is a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 11 per cent below 1990 levels by 2030 .
The recently published Greenhouse Gas Inventory showed New Zealand's gross emissions increased 2.2 percent between 2016 and 2017, and increased by 23 percent between 1990 and 2017. This figure is 65% increase if you exclude CO2 sequestration due to forestry.
